Pulsed Field Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation: A Game-Changer in AFib Treatment
My next hospital seminar (free to the public) is on the evening of October 4. As with prior seminars, this will be both in-person and live-streamed. The topic is “How to Live to 100 without Heart Disease.” I’ll send out a registration link with my next newsletter.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for keeping our book, "The AFib Cure," at the top spot as the #1 Kindle book in the field of cardiology on Amazon, even three years after its initial publication. Your support is truly appreciated!
Wishing you another fabulous month,
John
Hi Julia, A great question. It is not common to have have arrhythmias in the first month following an ablation. In our experience, most of these early arrhythmias following an ablation resolve by about a month after the procedure (but sometimes they might require 3 months to resolve or they don't resolve after 3 months which might require a second procedure). The heart does require some time to heal following an ablation procedure. The key is to work very closely with your cardiac EP during this period of time to make sure you are protected from these arrhythmias. Hope this helps! John
Very helpful information that I practice.
